Tuition and Fees

Tuition at IAU College of Medicine is affordable and saves future physicians from the burden of finishing medical school with student debt. IAU offers interest-free payment plans and scholarships to qualified students. Current tuition and fees, in U.S. dollars, are as follows:

Terms 1 – 4 (Basic Sciences in St. Lucia)

Tuition: $6000 per term
Student Fees: $375 per term

Term 5 (ICM in Chicago or Atlanta)

Tuition: $5500
Medical Malpractice Insurance: $1000.00 per year*

Term 5 (ICM in St. Lucia)

Tuition: $4500.00

Terms 6 – 10 (Clinical Sciences in U.S. or U.K. Teaching Hospitals)

Tuition: $9500.00 per term
Medical Malpractice Insurance: $1250.00 per year

*Introduction to Clinical Medicine is only a 4-week course, but insurance must be purchased for the entire year. Please note that coverage extends into the Clinical Sciences if rotations/clerkships are begun during the same year.


Scholarship Programs

We offer a number of scholarship programs to recognize outstanding performance of applicants in various fields. Scholarships are awarded to new incoming students and are credited to basic sciences tuition for terms one to four. Scholarships are competitive and funds are very limited so eligible students are encouraged to apply as early as possible. 7111 veterans Tuition and Fees

If you are a veteran of the United States military, and wish to study medicine at IAU College of Medicine in St Lucia, you are now eligible for educational and training benefits to assist with your medical studies.

The United States Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) has created the GI Bill  Website to help US veterans review their education and training benefit options and apply for benefits. Veterans should visit the Veteran Affairs website and complete an online application for benefits.
